Photo competition

Since I want to join in a photo competition from the German Foreign Academic Department (”Akademisches Auslandsamt”), which asks students now in abroad to post their best picture taken in their country. The winner photo(s) are published and also win prizes (like a travel coupon).

My four favorites are these, but if you remember a perticularly good photo from my blog, just tell me.
(1) JingShan park in Beijing at night(2) A lonely tree at the great wall(3) A long way to go (at the Great Wall)(4) Waterfall in Jiu Zhai Gou (now within the earthquake area)

I can only post one photo. The deadline is May, the 29th. Please help me by giving your opinions! :-)

    Hi Arno,

    I like these waterfalls and I think this is a not too generic photo.
    But my second choice would be the Chinese Wall due to its panoramic view!

    On the second photo you can’t see the whole tree and the first one is too dark. May be these ones are not so good for a contest.

    Gee this is really difficult, but I think I would agree with Bjoern.
    You took so many beautiful fotos, it’s really hard to pick the best!

    Also hier auch nochmal als Kommentar, da du es ja sonst scheinbar vergisst. ;)
    Des erste Bild wäre prinzipiell mein Favorit, aber leider hast du etwas zu viel Boden mit aufgenommen, was etwas die Stimmung des Bildes beeinträchtigt.
    Somit würde ich das Bild mit Blick über die chinesische Mauer nehmen. Schade ist zwar, dass dir da grad eine Dame ins Bild gelaufen ist, aber sonst ist die Aussicht grandios!

    Jow, ich tendiere zu Bild 3, die Frage ist nur ob auch nicht andere Fotos von der Mauer abgebn und des dann zu oft für die Jury vorkommt. Platz 2 geht an Bild NR 4.

    I like the one in the “chapter” beautiful Sichuan with the two monks walking on the wooden path! But from the above, I’d pick now picture no. 3!

    Thanks very much for all your help! :-D

    I have taken the advice of most of you and submitted picture number 3.
    I actually find picture 1 best, but from the artistic point of view (and yes, it is dark and yes, I took much of the floor ^^).
    But since the competition is more about travel pictures, picture 3 is a good choice, I guess.
