A severe loss

Before I came to China, I had a party at home, my birthday party, and celebrated together with (nearly) all of my near friends. I got many great presents, especially many in regard to my upcoming stay in China. Among were books, lots of food (German as well as Chinese), and one T-shirt, three of my best friends made for me. They drew the TV-Tower of Shanghai and even wrote some Chinese characters on it, that I could not yet read at this time :-P During the party, all my guests wrote their signatures on it.

And now to the sad part of it: Since I left the T-Shirt in Germany first, but later wanted to have it to show off at the Chinese (and by the way ask them, what the characters on it mean :-P ), my mother sent it to me per airmail.

This was about two months ago. And I still did not receive it :-/ Unfortunately we have no shipment number, because they did not give it by themselves at the post office and we also did not think we could need it. Now we know better and I hope you also do, as you have read this.

In the meantime I lost my wallet with a credit card in it (the other contents were not very important), so my mother had to send a new one to me. This time she sent it with DHL express and insured airmail (which costs 59€ by the way :-P ) and it arrived after four days.

When I have come over this loss, maybe I can think of a way to get a similar T-Shirt again. I guess, the simplest way would be to just have a welcome-back party after I return home. What do you think?
